The DVD player provided endless entertainment for the kids, and the large 30-inch flat-screen television made movie nights even more enjoyable. The picturesque and cozy atmosphere of the house created a wonderful ambiance for quality family time.
My children wanted a backyard or outdoor space for them to play in.

The DVD player in the room was a game-changer for our movie nights, and the 30-inch flat-screen TV was like having our own cinema. We were totally entertained and had the best time chilling and watching our favorite films. It made our stay super fun and memorable!
If I had to ask for one thing, it would be for a more happening nightlife scene nearby. We were looking for some late-night fun after exploring Maidstone during the day, but couldn't find any cool clubs or bars within walking distance.

The house we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. We were impressed with the fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. It was great to have these amenities available, making our stay feel like a home away from home. the location of the house was perfect. It was centrally located, close to main shops, and within walking distance to the riverside. This made it easy for us to explore the area and enjoy the local attractions.
That it could get a bit cold at night, but the host was helpful in addressing this issue. Another negative aspect was the potential for noise due to the central location.

We had an amazing time at the Hobbit house in Maidstone. The house itself is stunning, with beautiful decorative details and plenty of space. It's also located in a great area, close to shops and within walking distance of the riverside. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. I also loved that they allowed pets, making our stay even more enjoyable. The bed in the main room was incredibly comfortable, and overall, this was the most adorable and memorable home we stayed in during our four-week trip. I highly recommend it for shorter people, and even for taller folks it's still a fantastic choice. 10/10!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The decorations in the hotel were simply lovely, with delicate floral patterns and charming vintage furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had plenty of comfortable seating for us senior folks to relax and chat. I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy-to-navigate hallways and handrails near the stairs, making it safe and convenient for older guests like me.
I would have loved to see more assistance from the children working there for us senior guests.
